Missouri Gardens - An Historical Vignette

The first permanent colonists of Missouri were the French, who settled in St. Genevieve in 1755. Italians came later, planting vineyards around Rosati with Germans planting athe vineyards at Herman.

There is great variation in the geography of Missouri, with its cluster of grand rivers and streams, the plains of the western section, and the Ozark Mountains to the southwest.

Brucemore Cedar Rapids was built in 1886 on a 26-acre Victorian estate.
